Work has begun on the $80.5 million makeover of the former Trico Products Corp. plant at Washington and Goodell by Krog Corporation of Orchard Park. According to Business First, the building will be anchored by a 103-room hotel, 133 apartments and 100,000-square-feet of office, retail and restaurant tenants. There will also be room for 250 indoor parking spaces. The apartments and hotel are on pace to be completed by late 2020.
The Tops Friendly Markets store in Alden at 12775 Broadway will hold a Grand Re-Opening. That takes place Tuesday, July 9th at 2pm. The Tops has been undergoing a $2 million renovation.
Jada Blitz Fitness will move across the parking lot and into the former Buffalo Athletic Club building on Transit Road in Williamsville. The new location will also offer meal prep service Balanced Body café. The facility is slated to open in December of this year.
