New Maid of the Mist Boats Named

Maid of the Mist has settled on names for its two all-electric vessels slated to begin the 2020 season.  Chairman & CEO James Glynn and energy pioneer Nikola Tesla will be honored by having their names placed on the sterns.

National Grid and NYSEG/RG&E are also going electric.  They are the first utilities in the country to incorporate fully electric backhoe loaders in their fleets.  The companies will use the new backhoe loader as part of their gas construction businesses and plan to move the equipment throughout their service areas for a year of field testing.


Buffalo Bisons single-game tickets go on sale starting today at 10am.  The team announcing that there will be no service fees today through Friday for purchases.  Opening night is April 17th with the Bisons hosting Rochester.  In addition, the Bisons have named Anthony Sprague as the third GM of the team in the modern era.

Buffalo advertising agency Abbey Mecca has promoted Melissa Keith to Media Director and named Elizabeth Ervolina as its Content Marketing Director.

Marketing communications agency Tipping Point Communications has added Josh Jensen as Communications Supervisor and Brad Miller as Accounting Manager.
