Buffalo, NY (WBEN) WBEN is privileged to bring you coverage of David Bellavia's Medal of Honor ceremony Tuesday. Our coverage begins today.
He admits he's also nervous about one element: the about face movement. "You do facing movements in drill and ceremony, and you're doing it in a platoon and you screwup, it's not a big deal. But when you do a facing movement in front of the president of the United States, to do it on national televison, I don't want to screw it up and embarrass anyone," says Bellavia.
As for the ceremony itself, "the president will put the medal around David's neck, and that's the moment everyone will be waiting for," says Wenger. You'll be able to hear it live on WBEN and see streaming video at wben.com starting at 3pm Tuesday.
WBEN's Tim Wenger Susan Rose and Mike Baggerman will be inside the White House for the Medal of Honor ceremony and complete coverage will continue LIVE from Washington Wednesday morning as "A New Morning" originates from DC.
