Cattaraugus, NY (WBEN) Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies have cited a woman for violating the state's social distancing order, saying she held a party at her home Monday night.
Deputies say they received numerous complaints about a mass gathering at the home of 29 year old Melinda Dreaver. Complaints ranged from multiple vehicles in her driveway to noise to general concern about the safety of those inside.
Deputies say they responded to the home on three separate occasions, each time educating and warning Dreaver of the health risks associated with holding the party. Deputies say Dreaver refused to break up the party each time.
Tuesday, Dreaver was taken into custody and charged with obstruction of governmental administration, disorderly conduct, and criminal nuisance.
She was released with an appearance ticket to New Albion Town Court.
