Zemsky Steps Down as ESD President

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Howard Zemsky is stepping down as president of Empire State Development Corporation. Governor Cuomo appointed him to the post in 2015.

Prior to being President of Empire State Development, Zemsky co-chaired the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council. He also led Larkin Development Group's redevelopment of Larkinville

Zemsky will remain chairman of the agency's board of directors.

The state's economic czar plans to continue as chairman of the board.
