Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - It was hard fought win for the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen on Sunday night. The Bills were coming off of their bye week hosting the Green Bay Packers.
Buffalo keeps their home unbeaten streak against Green Bay alive having never lost a game in Orchard Park to the Pack. The Bills squeak out a 27-17 win improving to 6-1 on the year.
Allen had a bit of an uncharacteristic game looking hot and cold throughout. The Bills signal caller threw 25 times completing 13 passes for 218 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Along with that he also rushed for 49 yards on six carries.
Allen seemed a bit frustrated with himself following the Bills win on Sunday night after giving the Packers two late chances in consecutive interceptions.
"I got a little out of the groove and just did some uncharacteristic things, can't make those decisions. The only way that team gets back in it is by turning the ball over."
Allen focused on himself and his errors during this post game press conference taking sole responsibility for not finishing the game on a clean note. He did however, give credit and praise to the defense for closing out the game for the team along with noting the learning aspects of a game like this.
"Things that I can do differently that changes the feeling and the outcome of the game and honestly I have a crappy taste in my mouth right now. Our defense played really well our special teams played really well." Allen said, "There's a lot of positives, a lot to learn from, a lot to get better at and again that's what we practice for, that's what we play this game for and we'll learn from it and grow from it."
