Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550/WBEN) - The Buffalo Bills and former New England Patriots running back Damien Harris have reached an agreement on a one-year deal, a league source has confirmed to WGR.

Harris has spent the last four years in New England after the Patriots drafted him in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Alabama. During his four seasons in Foxboro, Harris rushed for 2,094 yards and 20 touchdowns.
The Richmond, Kentucky native's best pro season came in 2021 when he recorded 929 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns, including a memorable 64-yard touchdown run on "Monday Night Football" in Buffalo against the Bills.
Those numbers dipped last year to 462 yards rushing and three scores after Harris missed six games due to injury.
Bills general manager Brandon Beane recently told the media he was looking to add a bigger running back to the roster. Harris is listed at 5-foot-11 and 213 pounds, and brings with him a physical running style.
Earlier on Monday, the Bills lost running back Devin Singletary when he signed a free agent deal with the Houston Texans.
