As the Buffalo Bills get ready for their massive AFC East matchup against the New England Patriots this Sunday afternoon, the team was handed some concerning news to their offensive group.

Wide receiver Gabriel Davis and offensive lineman Cody Ford have been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. For Davis, he is reportedly unvaccinated and will not be available to suit up against the Patriots in New England this weekend.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott joined the “Extra Point Show” for his weekly appearance on Friday, and was the first to confirm the news before his team heads out to Foxboro on Saturday.

“COVID additions as of today are Cody Ford and Gabriel Davis,” McDermott said with Sal Capaccio and "Sneaky Joe" DiBiase.

In addition to Davis and Ford landing on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the Bills will also added special teams coordinator Heath Farwell and defensive line coach Eric Washington to the COVID-19 list.

Perhaps some good news for the depth of the offensive line came when McDermott confirmed on Friday that offensive linemen Bobby Hart has come off the Practice Squad/COVID-19 list. That should make him available to be called up from the practice squad for Sunday's game, if he's needed.
