Orchard Park, N.Y. (WBEN) - The so-called "Bills Mafia" House, an Orchard Park destination for Buffalo Bills fans, has landed a new buyer.

According to documents filed Tuesday, The Bills Mafia House LLC paid $810,000 for the house at 60 Fay Street, buying it from long time owner Shane Prouty.

Representatives from The Bills Mafia House LLC could not be reached for comment.

The house was listed in January with a $699,900 asking price by Realtor Katelyn Eddy and almost immediately drew lots of attention.

The selling point: Not so much the two-bedroom, 1,062-square-foot house that was built in 1942.

Rather, it was its location, sitting in the shadow of the current Highmark Stadium and just across Abbott Road from the new Highmark Stadium.

Nurtured by Prouty, a die-hard Bills' fan, the house because one of the epicenters for the "Bills Mafia" fan base who congregated in its yard, tailgating both before and after the team's home games.

It's status as a "Bills Mafia" destination happened organically, Prouty said.

When national media outlets wanted to do "Bills Mafia" stories, the house was one of the first locations where they would head.

Prouty, in a January interview with WBEN, said the decision to sell was a "bittersweet" moment but one based on family needs.

Prouty and his wife, Bobbie, bought the house 14 years ago.
