Bills to be focus of HBO's Hard Knocks during 2025 training camp

This season of Hard Knocks will premiere on Aug. 5

Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550/WBEN) - The Buffalo Bills are, once again, set to be in the national spotlight during this upcoming season of football.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced on Wednesday that the Buffalo Bills have been selected by HBO as the team of focus for the latest season of "Hard Knocks" at training camp this season.

This season of Hard Knocks will premiere on Aug. 5.

Hard Knocks was first introduced in 2001 when the program focused on the Baltimore Ravens training camp following their win in Super Bowl XXXV. Since then, the program has ran for 24 seasons, focusing on different teams all around the NFL.

Until Wednesday's announcement, the Bills were one of 13 teams to never be featured on the show.

Recently in 2021, HBO added an in-season edition of Hard Knocks, and last year followed the New York Giants in an offseason edition centered around the NFL Draft and free agency.

This past season, the Bills finished the year with a 13-4 record, captured an AFC East title in early December, and advanced as far as the AFC Championship Game, where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. The team was also lead last season by quarterback Josh Allen, who was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player.

Looking ahead to the 2025 season, the Bills are the only team in the NFL that is favored to win every game on the schedule.
