Orchard Park, N.Y. (WBEN) - Security is being beefed-up at the Highmark Stadium construction site on game days in Orchard Park.
Erie County Sheriff John Garcia says that Gilbane-Turner, the group managing the construction of the new Buffalo Bills stadium, has committed to adding additional security at the construction site on game days.
Ahead of Sunday's AFC Divisional Round matchup between the Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, fans are reminded that it is unlawful to trespass in the construction zone.
"We all want to see a Bills win on Sunday," said Sheriff Garcia. "Let's keep the focus on the field and out of the parking lots."
Fans seen in the construction area will be charged with criminal trespass. This season, 10 individuals have been charged for being in the construction zone on game days.
An additional note for Sunday night's game as fans are also reminded not to throw snowballs.
