BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - The finals for this year's 43North startup competition take place tonight at six at Shea's Performing Arts Center. Eight businesses will present their business plan to judges, Shark Tank style. Five of those businesses will receive a $1 million prize and a chance to grow their business in Buffalo.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2nd annual PITCH Hamburg Small Business Competition. Selected applicants will be placed in a six-month mentorship program before competing for a share of a $15,000 grant next spring.
Public Espresso + Coffee will open a third location at 448 Elmwood Avenue. Public also has locations at the Hotel Lafayette and Shea's Seneca in Buffalo.
