Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - We're one week away from the 43North Semi-Finals at Seneca One. Sixteen startup companies will give their pitches to a panel of judges. Only eight will advance to the finals the next day at Shea's. Companies are coming from as far away as London, England, as well as San Francisco, Miami and other major cities on both coasts and the middle of the country. Winners receive $1 million in investments. A full list of finalists can be found here.
Costco has filed for its liquor license for its future Amherst location at 4230 Ridge Lea Road, the latest sign that the wholesaler is getting closer to reality. It's the biggest development in the project since the store received its building permit over the summer.
KeyBank is bringing back its Mobile ATMs...that's "Automated Thank You Machines" to the Sabres' Party in the Plaza before tomorrow's home opener. They work just like any other ATM except you won't get cash. Instead, you'll receive treats like cookies, tacos or toys.
