7-11 forced to sell some properties

After a finding by the SEC that the 7-Eleven purchase of Marathon's Speedway subsidiary violated federal antitrust laws, it is being forced to sell some assets. Business First reports that 7-Eleven has agreed to sell 106 of its convenience stores to CrossAmerica Partners LP for a reported $263 million. The move means 14 local Speedways will be transformed into Joe's Kwik Mart locations.
