The BFLO Store is moving its flagship store from the Eastern Hills Mall across Main Street to the former Hens & Kelly's store in the Transitown Plaza. The plan is to bring in a high-end salon, a state-of-the-art Event Center, and a future brewery/restaurant. Opening day will be 716 Day - July 16th.
The city of Buffalo and the NFTA are jointly working on getting the 6-acre site surrounding the LaSalle MetroRail Station developed. Business First reports ten groups have expressed interest in the property. The hope is to vet the developers into a short list, followed by a request for formal bids. A final developer decision could come by year's end.
The Hamburg Central School District Board of Education has appointed Catherine Shick as its new Public Information Officer. Shick had been Public Relations Manager for FeedMore WNY.
