Local gas prices took a four cent jump this week. The AAA reports the current average cost for a gallon of unleaded in the Western New York area is now at $2.47. One year ago, the average cost was just eleven cents higher.
The Hamister Group LLC is ready for another expansion at its Orchard Heights senior living campus. according to Business First, Hamister Group will add 32 senior independent living apartments to the campus at a cost of $9 million. The plan goes before the Orchard Park Planning Board on February 11th for a review.
On a temporary basis, Visit Buffalo Niagara vice president of sales Mike Even has been tabbed as interim general manager of the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. Even replaces Paul Murphy, who passed away in late December.
