This week, a two cent drop in local gas prices. The AAA reports the current cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region is $3.36. Last year the pump price was $4.15 per gallon.
National Fire Adjustment Co. Inc. president Ron Papa has paid $1.2 million for full ownership of his company's Amherst headquarters building. Business First reports Papa paid the money to the estate of his mother, who passed away last year.
Also from Business First - Southern Junction, which has been operating in leased space at 27 Chandler Street, will be adding a full service restaurant. Southern Junction is taking over the former Black Sheep restaurant at 367 Connecticut Street. Pending liquor license approvals, the new eatery will open this summer.
Speaking of liquor licenses, Regal Cinemas has filed for one at its Walden Galleria theater. Business First says applications are also underway for Quaker Crossing Stadium 18 in Orchard Park.
