Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A startup company that uses AI to make the jobs of speech language pathologists easier won the top prize at UB's Panasci Technology Entrepreneurship Competition. The company is called SATE (Speech Annotation and Transcription Enhancer) and was started by two international students pursuing PhDs. The grand prize totaled around $65,000.
Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield will host "Fitness on the Rink" at KeyBank Center on May 8th. It's a free event. Attendees can participate in a series of 45-minute fitness classes, including spinning and yoga.
CheeZaatar, a Canada-based Lebanese restaurant is opening its first location in the United States in Kenmore at 2876 Delaware Avenue. You'll find flatbreads, wraps, juices and teas on the menu. Owner Mohamad El Chazli told Buffalo Business First the restaurant is expected to open within the next two months.
