Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Alibaba Kebab will celebrate the grand opening of its 4th Western New York location Thursday. The fast-growing chain's newest location is in Premier Plaza at 7880 Transit in Williamsville. Alibaba Kebab has plans to continue expanding.
The popular 7 Brew coffee that recently opened in Amherst now has a location in Lockport at 5770 S. Transit Road.The company also donated $1,000 to New Directions Youth and Family Services.
UB will host its 26th annual Panasci startup competition Thursday afternoon at 4:30 at the school's Center for the Arts. Six teams are participaticing in the 43 North-style competition and will have five minutes to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges. First place gets $25,000 in seed money and $40,000 in services. Second place gets $10,000.
