AM&A's Building Plans Outlined

At its Monday meeting, the Buffalo Planning Board approving the latest plan to bring the former AM&A's building downtown back to life. Business First noting the plan includes 49 apartments with a penthouse on the upper five floors and commercial space on floors two through four. There will also be some retail or a restaurant.

A UB research team has been awarded $8.5 million to study hybrid rockets, a technology that could provide a safer and less expensive way to explore outer space compared to conventional rockets.  The grant from the U.S. Dpartment of Energy enables UB to establish the Center for Hybrid Rocket Exascale Simulation Technology.


Paragon PT Group, a unique collaboration of 15 independent physical therapy offices, has formed in Western New York.  The mission of the group is to offer the highest standard of patient care utilizing the extensive combined clinical experience of its highly trained members.

Tonight at the Transit Drive-In, the Erie County Bar Association holds its 133rd Annual Award Celebration.  Attorney John Elmore will be recognized with the Lawyer of the Year award.
