Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Downtown gin bar Graylynn will close at the end of the month, but a group of employees are stepping up to open a new business inside the space at 537 Main Street. A post on Graylynn's Instagram page said the new owners will "have a fresh new concept, plenty of vigor & energy to see it through." Graylynn's last day of business will be Saturday, February 28th.

Steel Leaf Brewing Co. on Hertel Avenue is also closing later this month. A post on the brewery's Facebook described the decision to close as "incredibly hard", going on to say "the current climate has shifted in ways that make continuing forward no longer the right path for our family."

The state's departments of Civil Service and Labor are hosting a career fair Wednesday from 10am-1pm at UB's Educational Opportunity Center at 555 Ellicott Street in Buffalo. Over 20 state departments will be in attendance. Thousands of civil service jobs need to be filled due to an aging workforce and a drop off in employment during COVID.
