Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A long-vacant warehouse on Buffalo's East Side may soon be demolished to make way for a four-building, 28-unit apartment complex. The $13.7 million project is being planned by the United House of Prayer and is the latest development proposed for the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. Buffalo's Planning Board will review the project Monday.
A group of investors have purchased an apartment building at 2711 Sheridan Drive in the Town of Tonawanda. The buyers paid $555,000 for the building.
Gas dropped two more cents in Buffalo over the last week, averaging $3.14 per gallon. The national average continues to drop, too, falling four cents to $2.91 cents per gallon.
