Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Natrion, which manufactures battery components for EVs, energy storage and defense applications, will build a new factory at 575 Ludwig Avenue in Cheektowaga. The Cheektowaga factory will make Natrion's Active Separators, which expand the lifespan of lithium-ion batteries. The plant will create a up to 19 jobs.

Destination Niagara USA has received the Platinum Choice Award for 2025 from Smart Meetings. The award honors tourism groups for their ability to create high-quality events and experiences for professionals.

A Bank on Buffalo branch at 827 Hopkins Road in Amherst has sold for just over $1 million to DEL Associates. The property had been owned by the late Ron Alsheimer and his Plaza Group affiliate. It's the third Amherst building the Plaza Group has sold in recent days. Bank on Buffalo will remain a tenant in the building.
