Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Amid pressure from the Community Benefits Oversight Committee, the Bills plan to release more information about their yearly contributions to community organizations and initiatives that were promised in the the new stadium's Community Benefits Agreement. The team's first report last year stated that they invested $3.6 million in the community, but didn't give much detail beyond that. The Bills must contribute $3 million annually to community groups for the next 33 years as part of the stadium's CBA. The report will be released next Tuesday.
The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa is holding a School Safety and Security Symposium at the Buffalo History Museum today from 2:30 p.m.-7 p.m. School security experts from some of the top suppliers of security systems will be there giving live demonstrations and sharing best practices. The event is free to attend.
Catholic Health's Trinity Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation has opened at the former site of Buffalo Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab at 192 Park Club Lane in Williamsville. Buffalo PT had been operating there for 18 years, now most of its 49 staff members, including the owner, are joining Trinity's staff. Trinity PT focuses on spine therapy, balance and fall prevention and sports training.
