
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - After being denied by Buffalo's Zoning Board in May, the Bisons are coming up with new plans for a fenced-in gathering area for fans in Sahlen Field's plaza. Mike Buczkowski, president of Rich Baseball Operations told Business First the team hopes to bring their revised plan to the board this fall. The cost of the project is estimated to be between $150,000-$200,000. New food and drink stands are planned, with a small entertainment stage also possible.
Visit Buffalo Niagara is launching a new advertising campaign a week from today, complete with a new logo that will be projected on the Statler at night, posted on city buses and at the Convention Center. The campaign is going beyond Buffalo, too, spreading to Boston, Chicago and DC. Visit Buffalo Niagara's President and CEO Patrick Kaler told the Buffalo News “This is the most important moment we’ve ever had to move Buffalo’s visitor economy forward.”
Fitness on the Field is coming back to Highmark Stadium for a fifth straight year Friday, September 19th and Saturday the 20th. A donation of $10 gets you 45 minutes of spin and fitness classes. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield will match every dollar raised, with the money benefiting local nonprofits.
