Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo Bisons have announced that every single-game ticket for their September 23rd game will be priced at $12 with proceeds from every ticket sold going to the Firefighter Arno Memorial Foundation. The foundation honors Jason Arno, the firefighter who tragically lost his life in March while battling a blaze on Main Street in Buffalo.
UB has set a new single year fundraising record, bringing in over $120 million in donations for the fiscal year ending in June, per Buffalo Business First. Over 15,000 individuals and organizations donated to the University last year.
Western New York may be getting its first Cinnabon location, with the baked-goods company aiming to open at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls. Currently the closest Cinnabon location to Western New York is in Rochester.
