Eight new state-of-the-art advanced technology computed tomography scanners have been installed at the TSA checkpoint at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The CT scanners provide 3-D imaging, which gives agents better explosives detection capabilities for screening carry-on items.
HEALTHeLINK, the health information exchange for Western New York has agreed in principle on an affiliation agreement with Population Health Collaborative. The move will drive higher quality care, control costs, and improve the health and wellness of the people in Western New York. State approval is needed for the deal to be completed.
Tops Seedz has received a purchase order for its products to be sold at all 156 Giant supermarkets. Business First notes that this is the first major retailer to add Top Seedz since the startup won 43North's competition in October. Top Seedz has been available in Tops, Wegmans, Whole Foods and California-based Erewhon.
A Baltimore investment group has purchased the Walden Place Plaza at 2130 Walden Avenue. Business First reports the purchase price was $6.6 million.
