Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Azuna, a Buffalo-based air freshener company will celebrate entering retail for the first time with an event at Wegmans on McKinley Parkway in Hamburg Tuesday from 5 to 7. Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins, who's an investor in the company, will be holding a meet-and-greet at the store. Customers will receive a ticket to meet Dawkins with a purchase of an Azuna bundle.
The Western New York Chapter of the New York State Restaurant Association will hold an information event Tuesday evening at 5:30 at Sahlen Field to help business owners hire employees who have just arrived to the United States. The event is held in partnership with the International Institute of Buffalo, Jewish Family Services and Journey's End Refugee Services.
The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda has been awarded $40,000 by the New York State Council of the Arts. Located at 180 Thompson St., the factory complex has been standing for over 100 years.
