Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Public Schools will host interviews for bus aides and food service workers this coming Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Waterfront Elementary. Civil Service applications will also be provided on-site for new hires. All applicants must have photo ID and a proof of residence in Buffalo.
The Buffalo Niagara Partnership has named Thomas Emmerling as chairman of the board. The group also elected four board members as officers and named 11 new regional executives to the board. Forest Lawn CEO Julie Snyder and Kaleida Health President and CEO Don Boyd are among the executives that have been named to the board.
Gas prices in Buffalo fell slightly again over the last week, down 1 cent since last Monday at $3.58 per gallon, according to AAA. The price of gas nationally fell 4 cents at $3.47 per gallon.
