Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Canisius University's Golden Griffin Fund team took 1st place for the 15th straight year at the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute Research Challenge of WNY this weekend. Canisius beat out teams from UB, Oswego, RIT, St. John Fisher and Syracuse.
Submissions for the Taste of Buffalo's 2025 Poster Art Contest will be accepted beginning this Sunday, February 23rd. The contest is split into two groups, one for children ages 13-17 and another for anyone over 18. Each poster must incorporate a fork and at least one image of food.
A $250,000 renovation is ongoing at Buffalo's Pearl Street Grill, with a brand new LED sign being installed outside of the building. Seats are also being rearranged. Work began two years ago and included the installation of a new elevator, sound system and tap tower.
Gas prices stayed the same in Buffalo since last Monday at $3.12 per gallon. The same goes for the state-wide average, which stayed put at $3.18.
