Work begins today on the $300 million cannabis campus at Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park. Business First reports an affiliate of California-based Zephyr Investments LLC has closed on the eight parcels it needs for the multi-phased project, at a cost of about $2 million.
A ribbon cutting will be held this morning for the completion of the new $73.2 million Rosina Food Products, Inc. plant on Clinton Street. The plant will make a variety of meat products there.
National pretzel chain Wetzel's Pretzels will open a bakery location in the Walden Galleria this fall. The store will be located on the upper level of the shopping center next to Verizon.
Pulp 716 Coffee & Comics has acquired The Gothic Hollow Orchard in the Town of Lockport on the Niagara Wine Trail. This allows the business to directly produce and process the organic fruits used in menu items, including very rare apple trees grown from cuttings of the last known original Johnny Appleseed tree in America. Pulp 716 has locations in North Tonawanda and Lockport.
