Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Catholic Charities of Buffalo has sold the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary church and rectory at 220 Albany Street, a former Catholic school at 228 Albany Street and a garage at 91 California Street on Buffalo's West Side for $2 million, per Buffalo Business First. Catholic Charities will continue to occupy some parts of the campus, including the rectory which will house offices for their Immigration and Refugee Assistance Program.

Northland Workforce Training Center will launch a 12-week CNC Machinist certification course in June. The course includes 192 hours of training in machine operation skills. Graduates of the program will also get assistance finding a job as a machine operator.


The annual West Seneca Farmers' Market will get started next Thursday, May 16th. The market, located at the corner of Union and Main features around 40 vendors and will be open for four months.
