Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Three Catholic Health nursing homes have made Newsweek and Statista's 2025 list of America's Best Nursing Homes. Mercy Nursing Facility, Father Baker Manor and McAuley Residence all cracked the list, with Mercy in Lackawanna ranking fourth in the state among nursing homes with 50-99 beds.
The Erie County Clerk's Office will be holding a series of events called "Passports on the Move" at various AAA Travel and Insurance Centers. The event is for first-time passport applicants only. Purchases can only be made with checks or money orders. The first event is Tuesday, October 29th from 5-7 at 1737 Sheridan Drive in Tonawanda.
National Grid has awarded $250,000 to Launch NY through its CleanTech Incubation program. The money will help 100 startups in Upstate New York.
