
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo's Common Council has approved a Designated Developer Agreement for the Buffalo Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, allowing the group restoring the landmark to purchase a city-owned plot at 59 Memorial Drive. The purchase includes three vacant parcels nearby. The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation will do predevelopment work on the Terminal's post office and railway express buildings on the newly purchased property.
New data from Business First shows Keller Williams Realty is the region's largest commercial realtor, employing the region's most commercial real estate agents with 41. They also manage 69 listings. HUNT Commercial Real Estate places second with 32 agents handling 266 listings. That's the most listings of any of the region's top 5 commercial firms, which also includes Pyramid Brokerage Co., CBRE Upstate and Reckkio Real Estate and Development.
A new business park on Walden Avenue in Lancaster, co-owned by Jim Basil Sr., is looking for $200,000 in tax breaks, according to the Buffalo News. The project will cost $5.2 million and covers more than 13 acres of land. Two existing warehouses will be renovated while plans call for two more to be built.
