BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Local Price Rite and Wegmans stores have launched this year's Check Out Hunger campaign. Customers at both stores can make a donation to FeedMoreWNY at the check out counter. Donations can be made at Wegmans stores until Thanksgiving. Price Rite shoppers can make donations through February 11th.
Confer Plastics has been named a finalist in the Large Business category at this year's Business Ethics Awards. The Business Ethics Awards take place Thursday, November 16th at Salvatore's Italian Gardens. The awards honor local small, medium and large sized businesses for their dealings with customers, employees and other businesses.
The average cost of regular unleaded gas in Buffalo is down 2 cents from last week at $3.76 per gallon. The average price of gas nationally is $3.49.
