Clarence, N.Y. (WBEN) - For the third time in the past week, a house in Clarence has sold for more than $1 million.
With the deal, Erie County has notched 39 homes this year that have sold for $1 million or more.
The four-bedroom, 23-year-old house at 5007 Rockhaven Drive sold for $1.375 million.
For Clarence, the deal marked the 14th time this year a house in the town has sold for more than $1 million.
Last year, Clarence had 30 homes sell for north of $1 million as part of Erie County's record-setting year of 105 private residences exceeding the $1 million sales mark.
Erie County is pacing for seeing a house go for more than $1 million once every four days, and is trending towards, at least, 85 homes crossing the $1 million sales mark threshold.
The sale of a house, going for more than $1 million, is considered a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
