Cleveland-based public aerospace company TransDigm Group Inc. will reportedly pay $725 million in cash to purchase Cheektowaga's Calspan Corp. Business First notes Calspan employs more than 600 people. The company specializes in testing systems for the aerospace, automotive and defense industries.
