Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - An investor from Colorado has purchased the 7-acre FedEx facility at 1930 Military Road in Tonawanda for over $3 million, per Buffalo Business First. The buyer, Michael Ervolina, is a native Western New Yorker. He's now a managing partner in real-estate company Ervosquare. FedEx will continue to lease the space.
Ellicott Development has taken over operation of The Hotel at the Lafeyette, which had previously been controlled by the Pearl Street Family of companies. Ellicott Development operates several other hotel properties including Aloft Buffalo Downtown, Comfort Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport and the Mosey in Williamsville. Tappo Rstaurant has taken over the hotel's banquet operations.
Gas prices in Buffalo rose slightly over the past week, up just one cent at $3.66 per gallon. That's still higher than the national average, which comes in at $3.62.
