Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Colvin Cleaners' 30th annual Coats 4 Kids event begins Monday. Colvin is partnering with West Herr to collect winter coats, gloves, hats and other outdoor necessities at all West Herr locations. Donations are also being accepted at Colvin Cleaners at 2375 Elmwood in Kenmore and at Valu Homes Centers locations.
This Friday, November 28th marks the return of the Buffalo Winter Market to the Richardson Olmsted Campus. Local small businesses will be on hand selling handmade goods, including art, clothing and home décor. The market is open Fridays from 4 p.m.-8p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m.-6 p.m. through December 21st.
Trocaire College has named Hannah McQueen director of institutional effectiveness. McQueen's role will be analyzing data that will ultimately be used to craft the school's future plans.
The price at the pump ticked up 1 cent in Buffalo over the last week, averaging $3.18 per gallon. The average cost across the state rose 2 cents to $3.15.
