Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Community Beer Works has reached a deal to purchase Thin Man Brewery, acquiring all brand rights and brewery assets, pending regulatory approval. Brewing for the new venture will be split between Community Beer Works' existing facility at 520 7th Street in Buffalo and Thin Man's former brewhouse at 166 Chandler Street.
The SPCA Serving Erie County has announced the appointment of Kelly Wolfe as the SPCA's new Chief Development Officer. Wolfe had served as Donor Engagement Manager at the SPCA Serving Erie County for the last two years.
Local non-profit Peaceprints of WNY has registered a demolition application for the 115-year-old former Holy Apostles Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church on Clinton Street in Buffalo, per Buffalo Business First. Peaceprints had tried for more than a decade to turn the church into housing before it was decided the building is a safety hazard.
