Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A national wing franchise is planning to expand into Buffalo. "Wing It On!" is based in Connecticut and had plenty of success at this year's Wing Fest, placing in every category and taking first place in the medium traditional wing and savory categories. They also took second and third place prizes. Founder Matt Ensero told Business First those wins gave "Wing It On!" validation and the confidence to open a franchise in the region.

Joe Curtis has been hired as the new Executive Vice President of Maid of the Mist. Curtis last worked for APL Maritime, a container shipping company based in Arlington, Virginia.
