Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Get your Costco cards ready! Construction can officially begin on the retailer's future Amherst location as final building permits have been approved by the town, according to Buffalo Business First. The store, which will be located at 4230 Ridge Lea Road, must be built by the spring of 2026. Plans call for construction to start this coming spring or summer. The project will cost just under $22.5 million.
The Walden Galleria is extending shopping hours from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. beginning Friday through next Monday. The mall will be open on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sinatra & Co. Real Estate has finished work on The Annex Apartments. The building has been standing since 1911 and had served as an annex for nurses at Women and Children's Hospital. Thirty-six apartments have been installed. A grand opening celebration is set for January 11th.
