Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Six Flags Darien Lake's seasonal hiring event kicks off Wednesday, running through Friday from 11 a.m-7 p.m. at the park's human resources offices at 1501 Sumner Road in Corfu. 1,500 positions are open for the season that starts May 15th, which include lifeguards, ride operators, security and a variety of other roles.

Two Public Espresso locations in Buffalo have been forced to close by the Erie County Department of Health for at least a week due to code violations. Channel 7 says the location inside Hotel Lafayette downtown was flagged for sanitary code violations, while the Elmwood Avenue location was operating without a permit. Both locations need to pass an inspection before they can reopen.

Shea's will unveil its Broadway Season lineup Wednesday night at 6:30 at Shea's Buffalo Theatre. The theatre is promising special guests and performances of songs from the announced lineup. The event is free and open to the public.
