Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Williamsville developer Newman Properties plans to bring ninety new apartments and eleven homes to Grand Island, per Buffalo Business First. The new apartments and homes will be built near 1441 Ransom Road. The Grand Island Planning Board will discuss the proposal at its meeting next Monday.
Several Catholic Health nursing homes have received top rankings from New York State's Nursing Home Quality Initiative. Both Father Baker Manor in Orchard Park and Mercy Nursing Facility in Lackawanna ranked in the first of five tiers.
A total of nine new restaurants opened their doors in Western New York in December, including WingNutz and Imperial Pizza. Several restaurants will open soon across the region, with Andale Tequila Bar, which has plans to open in Buffalo, being one of them.
