Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The new owners of the Towne Gardens Apartments on Buffalo's East Side have secured $126 million in financing that will go towards renovations at the 360-unit housing complex. Plans call for the installation of modern appliances, sanitation and safety improvements, along with new lighting and repaved parking lots and sidewalks.
Buffalo's Catapult Executive Consulting is splitting in to two separate companies after 12 years in business. Co-founders Marsha Koelmel and Siobhan Smith will go their separate ways with Koelmel remaining in charge of Catapult and Smith launching her own consulting firm.
Lumsden McCormick managing partner Sara Dayton has been named to Forbes' list of Top 200 CPAs. Dayton is the only accountant in Buffalo to make the list.
The Buffalo History Museum will celebrate Highmark Stadium tonight from 6pm-8pm with an event called "Our Stadium, Our Stories." Attendees are asked to share their stories from the stadium and can also bring photos and memorabilia to share.
