Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Keller Chevrolet and Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home are teaming up again for their annual Operation Toy Soldier event, which provides toys for children of military personnel. As many as 3,000 toys have been donated in years past. Donations can be made now through December 18th at Keller Chevrolet or Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home. The toys will be handed out to kids December 19th.
BryLin Hospital has named Mary Swygert Executive Director of Patient Care Services. Swygert has worked in healthcare for 29 years and is jumping to BryLin from OLV Human Services, where she worked for 24 years and served as Chief Clinical Officer.
Folks in Buffalo might've had some trouble getting lunch early Friday as DoorDash halted operations in South Buffalo due to the snow. The food delivery service had to activate their Severe Weather Protocol until noon for that part of the city.
