Douglas Jemal is abandoning his plans for the Boulevard Mall, selling the property to Benderson Development. Jemal had owned the property since 2019 and planned to build a mixed-use development, though plans never got off the ground, becoming bogged in an eminent domain battle with the Town of Amherst. Jemal just recently unloaded the Richardson Hotel from his portfolio.
Kyle Roche, an attorney and rising star in real estate development, has been named to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation's Board. Roche has made a name for himself litigating cryptocurrency, antitrust and defamation cases. He just recently made headlines for buying Buffalo's most expensive home at $3.5 million, as well as the land where the Old Pink and Brick Bar once stood.
Gas prices across Buffalo dropped one cent since last Monday, averaging $3.19 per gallon. That's right near the state average of $3.20.
