
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The loss of some 750-1,000 international students is hitting UB's bottom line, with a projected loss of $6.5 million in revenue according to Business First. Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs A. Scott Weber did share some good news in a statement posted to UB's website. A record amount of first-year students are enrolled at the university for the fall semester with over 5,000 new students. That's around 1,000 more students than last fall.
Wegmans ranks first overall on Great Place to Work and Fortune Magazine's Best Workplaces in Retail List. It's the 10th year in a row Wegmans has taken the top spot. More than 87,000 employees at certified companies across the country have a say in the ratings.
Rich Products is making moves on Niagara Street. Rich subsidiary ROAR Logistics is relocating its corporate headquarters from Exchange Street to the former Oliver Gear building on Niagara Street. Rich also purchased the Curtiss Malt House property on Niagara Street.
