Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - D'Youville University has announced a new student housing complex that will be built at 443 West Avenue in Buffalo. The new, fully furnished dormitory will break ground this coming January. The finished product will include apartment-style units with full kitchens and in-house laundry. The project is expected to be finished by the start of the 2027-2028 school year.
The Walden Galleria, Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls and McKinley Mall all saw a drop in their occupancy rate since the end of 2024. The Galleria still leads the way at 91%. The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls is second with 66% occupancy, while McKinley Mall is the furthest behind with 51% occupancy, according to Business First.
Depew's Cordially Yours Wine & Spirits has been named a Top 100 National Retailer by Beverage Dynamics Magazine for the 6th year in a row. The mother-daughter owned business, which is located at 1460 French Road, has been in business since 2003.
Trocaire College has promoted Dr. Jennifer Blickwedehl to chief academic affairs officer. Dr. Blickwedehl has been with Trocaire since 2010.
