Registration for this year's YMCA Turkey Trot begins this morning at 11. The Early Bird entry fee is $37. This year's event marks the 128th edition of the Turkey Trot. The Thanksgiving Day tradition is the oldest consecutively run footrace in the world.
A new restaurant at Hamburg Gaming is set to open by year's end, replacing the Midway Buffet. The new restaurant will join other dining options at the casino such as Blue Ribbon Grill, the Cyclone Bar, Tim Hortons and the Winner's Circle Café.
Brothers of Mercy will begin the countdown to its 100th anniversary tomorrow afternoon at 1:30. The official anniversary is next June, but staff and volunteers will be hosting events such as Oktoberfest and a football festival for patients over the next ten months to celebrate the occasion.
